You are what you eat. Whatever you put into your body has an effect on you. If you don’t think so, have a look in the mirror. Your skin shows whether or not you’ve been eating healthy or not.

Eating correctly can help you be more focused and better at your job. Adam Bluestein, Inc.com, writes, “a healthy diet is an important part of being a good leader”. If you’re feeling foggy midday, it could mean that your brain is dehydrated. It does take some work and discipline to keep on a healthy diet, but the positives sure outweigh the negatives.

Just as how what you eat affects your body and health, who you choose to surround yourself affects you as well. Aimee Groth at Business Insider writes, “when it comes to relationships, we are greatly influenced — whether we like it or not — by those closest to us.” This rule applies to our online relationships as much as it does to our offline relationships.

This leads to the question, who do we surround ourselves with? If Jim Rohn’s statement that, “you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with” is correct, what does the company you keep say about you?
